Welcome to this quick guide on filling the coolant in your Funmatte Pro 410 3D printer. I’m Jay from Vision Miner, and I’ll walk you through the simple steps to ensure your 3D printer functions smoothly. Here’s what you’ll need: a two-millimeter hex wrench and some colored coolant for better visibility.
Accessing the Coolant Reservoir
Begin by locating the back panel of your Funmatte Pro 410, towards the bottom left. You’ll notice four screws holding this panel in place. To remove them, use your two-millimeter hex wrench. Make sure to keep track of these screws as you’ll need them later.
Filling the Coolant
Now, it’s time to fill your 3D printer’s coolant. Uncap the coolant reservoir, and if you’re using colored coolant, it’ll help you see the level more clearly. Funmatte Pro 410 comes with a funnel that you should place in the reservoir. Slowly pour the coolant into the funnel until it reaches the desired level.
Here’s the key: You should aim to fill it between 750 milliliters and 950 milliliters. Anything less will trigger an error in the machine, and it won’t operate correctly. On the other hand, overfilling beyond 950 milliliters is not recommended.
Completing the Process
Once you’ve filled the coolant to the correct level, it’s time to cap the reservoir. Secure the cap in place, and your coolant filling is complete.
Don’t forget to replace the back panel that you removed earlier. Use the four screws you took out to fasten it securely. Ensuring the panel is correctly in place is essential for the printer’s overall functionality.
With the coolant at the right level, your Funmatte Pro 410 3D printer is ready to go. Proper maintenance like this will keep your printer running smoothly, allowing you to create incredible 3D prints.
